To harvest your garlic: wait for the scape (tips of garlic that grow into a circle) to do a full circle and a bit (a 380), then cut them off for eating and cooking with. Let the bottom leaves dry out and go yellow before you are ready to harvest.
Garlic is an excellent plant to grow in your garden. It not only is the best flavor enhancer around...but is easy to grow and acts as a natural deterrent to all sorts of garden pests, helping to keep your garden healthy and pesticide free!
